The Team


Emma Giddings is from Philadelphia, PA and is currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Business and Engineering at Drexel University. Through previous experience in engineering courses building mechanical devices, this project will help connect experience with real-world application. By combining engineering with social responsibility, this project is the next step towards improving the current state of medical devices in developing countries.

Jacob Hall is from Lunenburg, MA and majoring in Electrical Engineering. Jacob has worked extensively on raising money for charities in third world countries. Now through innovations, he works at bringing affordable technologies to those who need it.

Emily Hoddeson is from Georgetown, Massachusetts and is majoring in Biomedical Engineering at Drexel University. Hoping to pursue a career related to medicine, this design project will give Emily a glimpse into the medical world. This project will provide real-life experience by aiding developing countries with their medical devices and health issues.

Celine Khoo is a Computer Engineering major at Drexel University from Ossining, NY. Celine has family members in Malaysia with medical careers, and as such, increasing accessibility and improving medical devices within developing nations has become a personal cause. This project contributes to communities in need while providing its members with real-world experience.

Chris Rogers is from Madison, Wisconsin, and is currently in the Biomedical Engineering major. He will use his knowledge of biomedical devices and methods to create a feasible design/project.
